I work from a humanistic framework emphasizing self-awareness, personal growth, and living with purpose. My approach is primarily informed by Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), while also integrating attachment-based, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), narrative, and mindfulness-based approaches. Creativity plays an important role in healing. My own creative approach often helps clients feel permission to explore and develop their own creativity as a part of their growth and recovery process. I hold certifications in Trauma-Focused CBT, Sandtray Therapy, Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT), and Gottman Level 1. My practice is grounded in evidence-based methods and guided by compassion and curiosity. For several years, I volunteered and later facilitated psychoeducational groups at the Children’s Justice Center in Provo, focusing on the prevention of victimization and re-victimization of child sexual abuse. These experiences have deeply informed my trauma-informed and resilience-focused perspective.
